Win Three Thriller Women Books to Celebrate Our First Full Year!

This year was our first full year of publishing the blog and what a fabulous year it has been! We are delighted with feedback from readers and enthusiasm from wonderful authors to take part in interviews.

Over 2021 we worked hard to highlight novels from debuts as well as established female thriller writers, ensuring that we feature all areas of the genre, such as historical, police procedural and domestic noir. Who knew back in January when we published an interview with Janice Hallett that her debut novel The Appeal would go on to be shortlisted for Waterstones' Book of the Year?

We also had an exclusive interview with Paula Hawkins about A Slow Fire Burning, Erin Kelly delved into the dark world of ballet dancing with Watch Her Fall, and Felicia Yap mused on what someone would do if they were told they were going to die tomorrow in Future Perfect

For we co-founders 2021 was a great year professionally with Penny Batchelor publishing her mum noir thriller Her New Best Friend and EC Scullion's second Tom Holt international thriller Evaders gracing bookshelves and receiving a shortlisting for Crime Fiction Lover's best indie novel.

We can't choose a favourite interview of the year because we loved them all.

Win!

To thank readers for supporting us this year we have a great Christmas competition to win two novels we've featured on TW and one that's coming up in 2022!

Apologies for the dire photo from Penny - you've probably gathered why she's a writer rather than a photographer ...

Up for grabs as a trio are The Chateau by Catherine Cooper, Fragile by Sarah Hilary and Her Perfect Twin, a 2022 debut by Sarah Bonner (our interview with her is in the bag and waiting to be published).

To enter follow Penny Batchelor - Author and EC Scullion on Twitter. Under the competition post on Penny's timeline tell us which was your favourite Thriller Women book of 2021 and tag a friend.

If you're not on Twitter then please leave your answer in this post's below.

The closing date is 11.59pm on Wednesday 5th January. Entrants with a UK address only please due to postage costs and zero budget!

Wishing you all a very happy festive season and lots of time to curl up with a good book.

Penny and Emma x
